Portal Mirror

A mirror shows you your face. This one is sixty by forty-two with a soft rounded frame that closes around the glass like an opening in a wall, and it asks for longer than a glance.

That's the difference between checking a mirror and using one. A glance confirms. A long look starts turning things over, and you end up somewhere further back: decisions, things said, the version of yourself that made them. The frame doesn't decorate the glass, it frames the act of looking, and it holds you there a beat past comfortable.

Nothing in it is unkind. Reflection is just rarely only about the present tense.

This is a made-to-order piece. Orders placed between June 15 and July 2026 will begin fulfilment after July 15 due to a studio relocation. Standard lead time applies from that date.

Fabrication note: designed digitally in Blender, then fabricated through large-format resin 3D printing across the studio's printer fleet, hand-assembled and finished in-studio.
