Gluten Bowl

Ten inches across, four high, and the pocket inside is shallow and small. Most of what you're looking at is the inflation around it.

There's a real gap between the size of this object and its capacity, and the gap is the piece. It presents as substantial. It holds very little. Anyone reading it from the outside gets it wrong, and it hasn't got the means yet to correct them.

This is an early piece and it's still learning. The volume came before the capacity, which is the usual order. You take up space first and grow into it afterwards, and there's a stretch in between where the two don't match and you're routinely misinterpreted for it.

Absolutely nothing to do with gluten. Guaranteed gluten-free regardless.

This is a made-to-order piece. Orders placed between June 15 and mid-July 2026 will begin fulfilment after July 15 due to a studio relocation. Standard lead time applies from that date.

Fabrication note: hand-sculpted in Monster Clay, cast in resin through a silicone mold, and hand-finished.
