It's aiming for a flower. It gets most of the way there.

Look at the ends and none of them agree. They were meant to be uniform. That was the intention: evenly spaced, balanced, each one matching the next. They came out with variance instead. Slightly different lengths, slightly different attitudes. Reaching for symmetry and landing near it.

Which is what makes it a better flower than a perfect one would be. Joy isn't uniform either. It arrives unevenly, in different sizes, never quite in the arrangement you pictured, and the version you actually get is always a slightly wonky approximation of the version you were aiming at. You take it anyway. It still opens.

It's technically a wall sconce. It will not be called that.

This is a made-to-order piece. Orders placed between June 15 and July 2026 will begin fulfilment after July 15 due to a studio relocation. Standard lead time applies from that date.

Fabrication note: hand-sculpted in Monster Clay, cast in resin through a silicone mold, and hand-finished.
