Blamp

Blob plus lamp. The name is the sound of something being worked out in real time, and the object is at the same stage: a form that has become a thing that makes light, and hasn't yet decided what kind.

Every piece in the studio started here. Before the height and the reach and the argument, there's a small shape on a bench that's finally reading as an object rather than material. It's the most fragile and most hopeful moment in making anything, and it usually disappears into whatever it becomes next.

This one got to stay. Fifteen inches, one warm bulb behind glass, an idea caught at the moment it started to work.

This is a made-to-order piece. Orders placed between June 15 and July 2026 will begin fulfilment after July 15 due to a studio relocation. Standard lead time applies from that date.
